I wanted to let you know the trip was amazing and flawless up until the Sheraton at Green. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed! Enough of that! The Vineyard and Nantucket were amazing, the Inns exceeded our expectations. It was nice to revisit all our favorite spots in Newport. We rented a Mini Cooper to see ALL of Martha’s Vineyard and got in lots of miles by bike on Nantucket.

Also, we couldn’t have timed the trip any better. We got out hours before they closed TPA for Irma. We also got off Nantucket before Jose stopped the Ferry’s.

I though Disney World was expensive. These Islands could be called Wallet World!

We are back from our trip and had a fantastic time. I think of all the cruises I have taken that this Viking was one of the best. The food was the best out of all of the other cruise lines with so many choices. The specialty Resturants were all included along with free wifi and free self service laundry. What a surprise for me, when I walked to the laundry service facility with my fist full of coins and my detergent to find that the machines were free and soap was included with the minor punch of a button. The balcony room was fantastic and the room service was spectacular. We also had a mini bar included in the room which was refilled every day at no charge for the products used. This was a lovely ship to be on, the staff were so happy working there and all worked as a team. The itinerary was one we wanted to do and we loved the stops in Norway, Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland, and Canada. Even though we did not make all the stops they tried to make up for it the best they could. We could not stop in one of those small villages in Greenland but they let us go down an extra fee yard to see the icebergs and glaciers and waterfalls. Thank you for helping us pick a wonderful cruise line and setting up this room and trip for us. It really will be one of our favorite memories. Thanks again.

We can thank our travel agent, , of Clearwater Cruises for obtaining this cabin for us. If we couldn't get a mini-suite, we weren't going to go. After checking with Princess Cruises, he told us that this was the last cabin of the class available. We grabbed it. Later in talking with other passengers, several said they were wait-listed for mini-suites or anything with a balcony, months earlier than when we decided to make the trip. They were unsuccessful in getting the accommodations they wanted. So, I suppose a combination of timing and working with a travel agent that is a good customer of the cruise line made the difference. There's no doubt in my mind that we would not have been successful if we had attempted to make this booking independently.
