Kuranda is a pretty town set amongst the glorious mountains of the Atherton Tablelands, and famous for its wonderful markets. There is spectacular rainforest surrounding the town, with various walking tracks.

Khama Rhino Sanctuary is a community-based wildlife reserve in Botswana, located near the town of Serowe in the central part of the country. Established to protect endangered rhinoceros populations, the sanctuary covers a broad area of savanna and woodland, centered around natural water sources that attract a range of animals.

Jerash is reached by a short drive (29 miles, 47km) north of Amman and is an ancient Graeco-Roman city, once known as Gerasa. It has been dubbed the 'Pompeii of the East', because of its extraordinary state of preservation. Jerash is a vast city, which flourished in the centuries immediately preceding and following the Christian era.

The Dades Gorges, carved by the Dades River in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, offer a winding stretch of road, towering rock walls, and centuries-old kasbahs perched on the cliffs. Located between the towns of Boumalne Dades and M’semrir, the gorge is especially known for its switchback road, often nicknamed “the snaking road of Tissadrine.” It’s a favorite among photographers and motorcyclists, with hairpin curves that reveal a new layer of landscape with every turn.

The Darvaza Gas Crater, famously nicknamed the “Door to Hell,” is one of Turkmenistan’s most extraordinary landmarks. Located deep in the Karakum Desert, this fiery pit has been burning continuously since the early 1970s, when Soviet engineers reportedly set fire to a collapsed natural gas field to prevent the spread of methane.
