Fort William, located on the western edge of the Scottish Highlands, is often referred to as the “Outdoor Capital of the UK,” but there’s more here than rugged landscapes. Bar Harbor, a Mount Desert Island town, is also the portal to the rugged, recreational paradise Acadia National Park, where birding, whale-watching and kayaking is the order of the day. The park's Cadillac Mountain is the highest point on America's East Coast.

Roatan is the largest of the eight islands known collectively as Las Islas de la Bahia. Brilliant clear blue waters and palm fringed beaches are cooled by gentle trade winds. An extensive reef system offers the most spectacular diving and snorkeling in the Western hemisphere, while inland nature reserves give an up-close look at native wildlife, including monkeys, sloths, and parrots.
