Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park, in western Uganda, is one of East Africa’s most diverse and scenic protected areas. Stretching from the Rwenzori Mountains to the shores of Lake Edward, the park encompasses savannah, wetlands, and dense forests, making it a sanctuary for an incredible array of wildlife.
Bled
Bled, a small town in northwestern Slovenia, has gained international attention thanks to its lake, which features a lone island topped with a baroque church. Visitors often take traditional wooden boats called pletna to reach the island, where it's customary to ring the church bell and make a wish. According to local legend, the bell was originally cast in memory of a young widow’s lost husband, and today, its chime echoes across the lake as a symbol of devotion and hope.

Foz do Iguaçu
Set at the meeting point of Brazil and Argentina, Foz do Iguaçu is defined by the sheer scale of the Iguaçu Falls. Nearly 275 individual waterfalls stretch across close to three kilometers, sending mist into the air and sound echoing through the surrounding forest. Visitors follow raised walkways that bring them face to face with this moving wall of water, culminating at the dramatic Devil’s Throat, a deep, curved drop where the river seems to vanish into the earth.
Ocho Rios
Ocho Rios, whose name comes from the Spanish for “Eight Rivers”, was originally a Taíno settlement before Spanish and later British colonial influence shaped its identity.
